Have you ever tried to research the music business? The truth is, the music business contains a lot of smoke and mirrors and we know how hard it is to find real, practical and actionable information.

When you Google information about the music business you find a lot of “this is what you should do” but very rare do you find anything that actually explains HOW to do all of these things.

Throughout our many years of working behind the scenes in the music industry, we’ve not only seen how things are achieved, but we’ve also been a part of some really amazing album rollouts and marketing campaigns. We feel that it’s time all of this knowledge is easily accessible to everyone, which is why MBHT was born.

Is there an exact blueprint to success? No. However, there are many tried and true strategies that really work, and there’s so many amazing tools out there to make your life easier. The more you know, the more you can apply this stuff to your own career and in your own unique way.

Is it going to be easy? No. It’s a lot of hard work. Even when you work smart, you’ll need to work hard to push through all the noise. But if it was easy, would it be worth it? We don’t think so.

MBHT is also a community. While there are still some perks to signing a major record deal (like access to a big budget and radio plugs), the industry is more indie friendly than ever now. The flood gates have opened and the tools and resources that were once hidden are now easily accessible. And with the internet basically running our lives, artists can now get their music directly in front of the people that matter most; their fans.

Whether you’re just starting out, or if you’ve had some traction but want to get better results - whether you’re a one man band or you have a team of people around you to help, MBHT is the icing on the cake.
